STUDENT SUCCESS

Pendle Hill High School Students Pendle Hill High School received a Western Sydney Region Award for Outstanding Improvement in 2006 for both Literacy and Numeracy.

Pendle Hill High School had 90% of our Year 8 students placed in the top two performance bands in the 2006 State-wide ELLA Literacy test.

Year 7 students at Pendle Hill High School begin in small, mixed ability classes, with an extension class for students with a proven record of academic success.

Pendle Hill High School acknowledges the achievements of all students regularly, and rewards students who consistently achieve their best.

Pendle Hill High School was awarded the Director's Trophy from the Parramatta District Rugby League for our success in schoolboy Rugby League in 2006.

Over a million dollars has been invested in building improvements at Pendle Hill High School in the past year, including security fencing and disabled access.

At Pendle Hill High, we believe that positive behaviour leads to improved student learning and achievement.

We believe that all students and teachers have the right to be treated fairly and with dignity, in an environment free from distruption, intimidation, harassment and discrimination.

We strive to maintain high standards of student behaviour with a focus on Responsibilities, Respect and Rights. This is explicitly taught to all students through our Positive Behaviour for Learning Program.
