STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL

Student representative's message

Pendle Hill High School Student Representative Council (SRC) is a representative body of students that aim to bring forward the opinions and ideas of students, build a better school community, raise funds, organise social activities to promote school pride and participation and also to raise the profile of our school in the community.

During 2006 the SRC was active in promoting school pride and participation through activities such as World Cup Day – in conjunction with Year 12 – encouraging students to participate in activities at lunch time run by staff and students. The SRC hopes to continue this with a similar day to be held in later years.

Pendle Hill High has always been a giving community and this continued with charity fund raising and mufti days for Jeans for Genes and Breast Cancer Awareness Day. We had 4 students regularly represent the school at Regional SRC meetings, taking an active role in regional planning of SRC activities for all schools.
