CAREER PROGRAM

The Career Program at Pendle Hill High School aims to provide students with every possible opportunity to ensure a successful transition from school to further training and/or employment.

This is achieved by:

• a Work Studies Program for all students in Years 9 and 10
• a flexible Work Experience Program, enabling students to explore careers options
• Lunchtime Workshops and Career Talks
• a Careers Resource Room for students to use in their free time
• access to the My High School Careers website, which includes the online newsletters available to all students and their families. (Register yourself using the school name) for access.
• Special Programs
• Career Counselling

Our programs ensure that every effort is made to provide students with the opportunities to:

• explore their interests, abilities and skills
• research career options
• develop the tools to apply successfully for courses and jobs
